JAKARTA, Sept 9 (NNN-ANTARA) – The number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 6,731 within one day, to 4,147,365, with the death toll adding by 626 to 137,782, the country’s Health Ministry said yesterday.
According to the ministry, 11,912 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of patients recovering from COVID-19 to 3,876,760.
To date, at least 39.72 million people in the country have received two shots of vaccines, while 69.19 million have taken the first doses, the ministry added.
Indonesia is targeting to vaccinate 208.26 million people, and has received 225.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, produced by various pharmaceutical companies, since last Dec.– NNN-ANTARA
