HOUSTON, Aug 30 (NNN-AGENCIES) – At least one person was confirmed dead, after powerful Hurricane Ida made landfall in southern U.S. state of Louisiana yesterday, authorities said.
The state’s Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office said, a tree had fallen on a home in Prairieville. The victim, a 60-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.– NNN-AGENCIES
