GAZA, Aug 29 (NNN-WAFA) – A 12-year-old Palestinian boy, yesterday succumbed to critical injuries he sustained, by Israeli soldiers live-firing, near the borders between eastern Gaza Strip and Israel, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
Abu al-Neel was critically injured in the neck, in the clashes that broke out yesterday, between dozens of Palestinian protestors and Israeli soldiers, who were stationed at the borderline area in eastern Gaza, it said.
Dozens of protestors reached the borderline area, upon the call of several Palestinian factions, including Hamas, to mark 52 years for burning of the al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem.
Hamas said in a press statement that, although Israel killed two Palestinian boys and wounded 39 others, “the Palestinian people will continue their struggle against the Israeli siege, aggression and settlement in the Palestinian territories.”
Meanwhile, the Palestinians decided to carry on night protests which are called “the night disturbance.”
A group calling itself “the unit of night disturbance,” said in a press statement that, the Gaza Strip’s youths are urged to join the night activity last night, in eastern Gaza, near the borders with Israel.
Last week, medics said that, 41 protestors were injured, including 22 children.– NNN-WAFA
