Three Security Forces Members Killed In Bank Robbery In Myanmar’s Western State

YANGON, Aug 26 (NNN-MNA) – Three members of the security forces were shot dead, by some armed men, at a bank, in Myanmar’s Chin state, state-run media reported, yesterday.

Some gunmen shot the security forces members, from a close distance, after pretending to be customers at the bank, in Tedim township, yesterday morning, the state media said.

According to the report, the gunmen took some firearms from the security members, along with over 38.8 million kyats (over 23,331 U.S. dollars) from the bank, and ran off.

Search for the gunmen is now underway.– NNN-MNA
