YANGON, Aug 18 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar reported 3,306 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the total tally to 360,291 yesterday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has increased to 13,623, after 178 new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, the release said.
As of yesterday, a total of 279,488 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals.
COVID-19 was first detected in Myanmar on Mar 23, last year.– NNN-MNA
