Road Mishap Claims Four Lives In West India

NEW DELHI, Aug 17 (NNN-PTI) – At least four persons were burnt to death, and one injured in western India, when two trucks collided with each other, leading to instant fire, confirmed a local police officer, over the phone today.

The road mishap occurred on a state highway, in India’s western state of Rajasthan early this morning, the police said, adding, as a result, fire engulfed both the vehicles instantly, giving no time for the drivers and helpers to escape out of the vehicles.

The lone injured person has been admitted to a local hospital, and the spot where the accident took place has been cleared for normal traffic, the local cop further said, over the phone.– NNN-PTI
