JERUSALEM, Aug 12 (NNN-XINHUA) – Israel’s Ministry of Health reported 7,668 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the tally of infections in the regime to 918,237.
The death toll from the virus in Israel rose by 16 to 6,587, the ministry said.
The number of active cases increased to 40,420, the highest since Mar 6, while the number of patients in serious condition increased from 388 to 405, the ministry added.
The total recoveries from the virus in Israel climbed to 871,230 after 3,483 newly recovered cases were added.
The number of people who have received the first dose of the vaccine in Israel reached nearly 5.83 million, or 62.5 percent of its total population, while over 5.4 million have taken the second dose and over 713,000 have got the third one.– NNN-XINHUA
