Solidarity aid from Bolivia on way to CubaLa Paz, Jul HAVANA, July 31 (NNN-Prensa Latina) — A Bolivian Air Force plane arrived in Cuba with a shipment of solidarity aid consisting of 20 tons of medical supplies and food.

The shipment was approved by Supreme Decree to help the Caribbean nation that suffers the impact of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for 60 years and the fight against a rise in Covid-19 contagions.

‘Heading for our sister Republic of Cuba, bearing love and solidarity from the Bolivian people,’ Minister of the Presidency Maria Nela Prada informed.

In this way, Bolivia agrees on President Luis Arce’s announcement to send aid to the Caribbean nation, which he described as an example of solidarity.

In recent days, Cuba received aid shipments from Mexico, Russia, Nicaragua and Venezuela, in addition to having support by an important part of the international community to overcome the deficiencies generated by the US blockade and the Covid-19 pandemic. — NNN-PRENSA LATINA
