Israel Reports 1,331 New COVID-19 Cases, Active Cases Surpass 11,000

JERUSALEM, Jul 25 (NNN-PNN) – Israel’s Ministry of Health reported 1,331 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the tally in the country to 859,308.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Israel rose by 936 to 11,102, the highest since Mar 25, the ministry said.

The death toll from the virus in Israel rose by one to 6,458, while the number of patients in serious condition rose from 81 to 89.

The total recoveries from the disease climbed to 841,748, after 394 newly recovered cases were added.

The number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Israel stands at nearly 5.76 million, or 61.8 percent of its total population.– NNN-PNN
