PETALING JAYA, July 23 (Bernama) — Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Zuki Bin Ali, Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia will launch the National Policy on Good Regulatory Practice (NPGRP) on 30 July 2021, according to Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), an agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). MPC serves as the national oversight agency responsible for Malaysia’s GRP journey. NPGRP is an improvement of the National Policy on Development and Implementation of Regulations (NPDIR) launched in 2013.
The virtual launching ceremony themed “Boosting Productivity Through Quality Regulation” resonates the essence of NRGRP, which aims to enhance Malaysia’s business environment and the well-being of the rakyat in general by raising national productivity growth and competitive advantage.
