MANILA, Jul 18 (NNN-PNA) – The Philippines’ Department of Health (DOH) reported yesterday, 6,040 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,502,359.
The death toll climbed to 26,598, after 122 more patients died from the viral disease, the DOH said.
The Philippines, which has around 110 million population, has tested more than 14.8 million people, since the outbreak in Jan, 2020.– NNN-PNA
