India’s Overall Exports Grew By 31.87 Percent In Jun, Touches 49.85 Billion USD

NEW DELHI, Jul 16 (NNN-PTI) – India’s overall exports in Jun stood at 49.85 billion U.S. dollars, up by 31.87 percent, compared to the same month last year, data released by the federal ministry of commerce and industry showed, yesterday.

According to the ministry, overall imports in Jun, 2021, are estimated to be 52.18 billion U.S. dollars, exhibiting a positive growth of 73.65 percent, over the same period last year and a positive growth of 1.08 percent over Jun, 2019.”

The ministry said, India’s overall exports (Merchandise and Services combined) in Apr-Jun 2021, are estimated to be 147.64 billion U.S. dollars, exhibiting a positive growth of 50.24 percent over the same period last year and a positive growth of 10.92 percent over Apr-Jun 2019.

Likewise, the ministry said, overall imports in Apr-Jun 2021, are estimated to be 156.58 billion U.S. dollars, exhibiting a positive growth of 80.75 percent over the same period last year, and a negative growth of -3.48 percent over Apr-Jun 2019.

Taking merchandise and services together, the overall trade balance for Jun, 2021, is estimated at -2.34 billion U.S. dollars as compared to 7.75 billion U.S. dollars in Jun, 2020, a decline of -130.13 percent, the ministry said.– NNN-PTI
