TEHRAN, Jul 15 (NNN-TASNIM) – Iranian President-elect, Ebrahim Raisi, announced that, Iran will continue its consistent policy of supporting Palestine.
Iran will keep defending Palestine against Israel, until the “liberation of Jerusalem (al-Quds) from the Zionist (Israel) occupation,” Raisi said, in separate telephone conversations with Ismail Haniyeh, chief of Gaza’s ruler, Hamas, and Ziad al-Nakhala, secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza.
He also hailed what he called, “Palestine’s victory against the Israeli regime, in the Operation Al-Quds Sword,” according to the report.
In May, Palestinian resistance factions announced the launch of Operation Al-Quds Sword against Israel, which soon escalated into a round of 11-day fierce fighting between the two sides.– NNN-TASNIM
