AMMAN, Jul 11 (NNN-PETRA) – Jordan’s King Abdullah II, yesterday received a phone call from Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, during which the King stressed the importance of working towards just and comprehensive peace, based on the two-state solution, according to a statement by the royal court.
The King underscored the necessity to advance efforts to reach this solution, as the only way to achieve security, stability, and lasting peace in the region.
On Jul 1, the King departed for the United States, where he is scheduled to participate in the Sun Valley Economic Forum, and undertake a working visit to Washington DC, according to the royal court.– NNN-PETRA
