Singapore Reports 10 New COVID-19 Cases

SINGAPORE, Jul 10 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 10 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total tally to 62,678.

The new infections include one locally transmitted case.

The newly reported nine imported cases have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore. Six of these cases were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while three developed symptoms during SHN or isolation.

A total of 85 cases are currently warded in hospitals. There are currently eight cases of serious illness, requiring oxygen supplementation, and two in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).

As of Jul 8, Singapore administered a total of 6,083,907 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, under the national vaccination programme, covering 3,843,179 individuals, with 2,240,728 individuals fully vaccinated with two doses.– NNN-CNA
