JAKARTA, Jul 10 (NNN-ANTARA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2, jolted North Sulawesi province, in central part of Indonesia today, but was not potential for a tsunami, the meteorology and geophysics agency said here.
The quake struck at 7:43 a.m. local time, with the epicentre at 112 km south-west of Melonguane city, Kepulauan Talaud district, and at the depth of 10 km under the seabed.– NNN-ANTARA
