ULAN BATOR, Jul 5 (NNN-XINHUA) – Mongolia reported 1,551 new COVID-19 cases, over the past 24 hours, bringing the national caseload to 126,811, the country’s health ministry said, today.
The ministry said that, a total of 8,699 samples were tested across the country in the past day, and the latest confirmed cases were local infections.
Meanwhile, 12 people died from the virus in the past day, pushing the overall death toll to 653, the ministry said.
A total of 2,326 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 87,145.
More than 1,761,200 Mongolians have so far been fully vaccinated, since the country launched a national vaccination campaign in late Feb, according to the ministry.– NNN-XINHUA
