NEW DELHI, Jun 30 (NNN-PTI) – As many as four people were killed in a fire, in India’s capital, New Delhi late last night, a local fire department official confirmed, today.
The mishap occurred in the capital’s eastern Shahdara area, following a cooking gas cylinder blast, said Delhi Fire Service (DFS) chief, Atul Garg.
“Four people died and another person sustained burn injuries, in a fire that erupted, following a cooking gas cylinder blast, at a house in Farsh Bazar area of Shahdara last night,” he said.
He added that, a total of nine fire tenders were rushed to the site. The Fire was brought under control and five people were removed from the fire and sent to hospital, out of whom, four died.
The fire broke out in a house, following gas leakage in a cooking gas cylinder, Garg said.– NNN-PTI
