JAKARTA, Jun 24 (NNN-ANTARA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7, jolted Indonesia’s eastern Maluku province today, the meteorology and geophysics agency said here.
The quake rocked at 9:24 a.m. local time, with the epicentre at 238 km north-east of Maluku Barat Daya district, and the depth at 344 km under the seabed.
The agency did not issue a warning for tsunami, as the quake did not potentially trigger giant waves.– NNN-ANTARA
