NEW DELHI, Jun 14 (NNN-PTI) – Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, today congratulated his new Israeli counterpart, Naftali Bennett.
Modi also expressed his eagerness to meet Bennett for further deepening bilateral relationship.
“Congratulations on accepting your new position as Prime Minister of Israel. In anticipation of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations upgrade next year, I look forward to meeting with you and deepening the strategic relations,” tweeted Modi.
The Israeli parliament yesterday approved a new coalition government, sending Benjamin Netanyahu to the opposition, after a record 12-year rule.
Bennett was sworn in as the new prime minister last night.– NNN-PTI
