MUSCAT, Jun 10 (NNN-ONA) – The Omani health ministry, yesterday announced, 1,931 new COVID-19 infections, raising the total confirmed number in the sultanate to 228,579.
Meanwhile, 818 people recovered from the disease during the past 24 hours, raising the overall recoveries to 206,844, while 14 fatalities were reported, pushing up the death toll to 2,448, according to a ministry statement.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions, issued by the supreme committee handling the COVID-19 pandemic.– NNN-ONA
