TOKYO, Jun 9 (NNN-NHK) – Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga, will leave Japan for Britain tomorrow, to attend a summit of the Group of Seven (G7) industrialised nations, the country’s top government spokesperson said.
Chief Cabinet Secretary, Katsunobu Kato, told a press briefing that, “with Suga’s participation, Japan will contribute to discussions on a range of key issues, including measures against the COVID-19, international health, the global economy, free trade, climate change and regional situations.”
The Japanese leader, while attending the summit, being held from Friday to Sunday, is also slated to hold a number of bilateral meetings with other leaders.– NNN-NHK
