YANGON, Jun 7 (NNN-XINHUA) – Myanmar reported 64 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 yesterday, bringing the total tally to 144,317.
A release from Myanmar’s Ministry of Health, yesterday also reported two new deaths from the coronavirus pandemic in the country, bringing the COVID-19 related death toll to 3,225.
According to the official data, a total of 132,452 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals, and over 2.63 million samples tested for COVID-19 so far, including 1,077 samples tested yesterday.
Myanmar detected its first two positive cases of COVID-19 on Mar 23, last year.– NNN-XINHUA
