DAMASCUS, May 18 (NNN-SANA) – Palestinians in Syria, staged a protest in front of the United Nations office, in the Syrian capital Damascus, urging the UN, to help stop the Israeli actions against the Palestinians.
Waving Syrian and Palestinian flags, the protesters chanted slogans about the need to open borders to reach and help the people in Palestine.
“Long live Palestine,” they shouted, while some of them set fire to an Israeli flag.
The protest, organised by the Palestinian factions in Syria, came in the wake of the confrontations taking place, between the Israelis and the Palestinians in Gaza and Jerusalem.– NNN-SANA
