ISLAMABAD, May 9 (NNN-APP) – Pakistan yesterday strongly condemned the attacks at a school in Afghanistan, according to the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At least 25 people were killed and 52 wounded, after three consecutive explosions rocked outside a school in western part of Kabul, capital of Afghanistan yesterday, the capital police confirmed.
“The government and the people of Pakistan offer heartfelt condolences to the government and the people of Afghanistan and pray for quick recovery of the injured,” the Pakistani foreign ministry said, in a statement.
“Pakistan condemns terrorism in all forms and manifestations,” the statement said, adding that, at this moment of grief, Pakistan stands by the Afghan people in their struggle against the scourge of terrorism.
Pakistan also reiterated its resolve to continue to support Afghanistan, on its path to peace, progress and prosperity.– NNN-APP
