Saudi-Led Coalition Intercepts Bomb-Laden Drone Fired By Yemen’s Houthis

RIYADH, Apr 21 (NNN-SPA) – The Saudi-led coalition, involved in a war in Yemen, intercepted, yesterday, a bomb-laden drone, launched by Houthis towards the Saudi border city, Khamis Mushait, Al Ekhbariya TV reported.

The incident was part of a series of attacks by the Houthi militia, that target some areas in Saudi Arabia, mainly border cities.

Most of those attacks were foiled before reaching their targets, while some succeeded in causing injuries and physical damages.

Saudi Arabia announced an initiative on Mar 22, to end the Yemeni crisis. The initiative includes a comprehensive cease-fire across Yemen, under the supervision of the United Nations.

The coalition completed, last month, its sixth year of war in Yemen, against the Houthi militia, in support of the Yemeni government.– NNN-SPA
