KABUL, Apr 21 (NNN-XINHUA) – A powerful explosion shook Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, last night, an Afghan security official confirmed, without providing information on casualties.
At around 9:50 p.m. last night, an explosion rocked Police District 15 of Kabul, said Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman, Tariq Arian. But he gave no further details.
A security source told local media, TOLOnews, that, the blast occurred as a result of a suicide bombing, that targeted a convoy of the National Directorate of Security (NDS), the Afghan intelligence agency.
No organisation has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.– NNN-XINHUA
