ISLAMABAD, Apr 19 (NNN-APP) – Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, reiterated here, yesterday, the intention of his government to provide business-friendly environment to investors, to attract the much-needed foreign direct investment.
Khan made the remarks, during a meeting with a delegation of leading Russian businessmen, who showed great interest in investing in various projects in Pakistan, according to a statement from the Prime Minister.
During the meeting, increased cooperation between Russia and Pakistan, in large scale manufacturing, railways and energy sector was discussed.
The two sides agreed to expedite the projects that are already in the pipeline.
Earlier in Apr, Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, paid a visit to Pakistan, and the two sides agreed to strengthen bilateral ties and deepen cooperation.– NNN-APP
