Singapore Reported 25 New COVID-19 Cases

SINGAPORE, Apr 13 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, bringing its total tally to 60,678.

The Ministry of Health (MOH), said that, all the new cases are imported ones. Amongst them, 20 are asymptomatic, and were detected from proactive screening and surveillance, while five were symptomatic.

Yesterday, 22 more patients were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities, bringing the total number of recoveries from the virus to 60,357, according to the ministry.

There are currently 56 active cases being treated in hospitals. Of them, one is in critical condition and held in the intensive care unit.

Furthermore, 235 infected people are being isolated and cared for at community facilities. They are those who have mild symptoms or are clinically well, but still test positive for COVID-19.

There have so far been 30 deaths from COVID-19 in Singapore.– NNN-CNA
