Singapore Reports 20 New COVID-19 Cases

SINGAPORE, Apr 12 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, bringing its total tally to 60,653.

The Ministry of Health (MOH), said that, of the new cases, 19 are imported cases, and one is an individual, who resides in a foreign worker dormitory.

Yesterday, 13 more patients were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities, bringing the total number of recoveries from the virus to 60,335, according to the ministry.

There are currently 58 active cases being treated in hospitals in Singapore. Of them, one is in critical condition and held in the intensive care unit.

Furthermore, 230 infected people are being isolated and cared for at community facilities. They are those who have mild symptoms or are clinically well, but still test positive for COVID-19.

There have so far been 30 deaths from COVID-19 in Singapore.– NNN-CNA
