JAKARTA, Apr 8 (NNN-ANTARA) – The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 4,860 within one day to 1,547,376, with the death toll adding by 87 to 42,064, the Health Ministry said yesterday.
According to the ministry, 5,769 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 1,391,742.
The virus has spread to all the country’s 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 862 new cases, West Java 811, Central Java 535, East Java 346 and Yogyakarta 272.– NNN-ANTARA
