WELLINGTON, Apr 6 (NNN-AGENCIES) – New Zealand reported 17 imported COVID-19 cases in two days, with zero community infections, according to the Ministry of Health today.
The new cases came from India, Britain, the United States, Ethiopia and the Philippines. They have remained in managed isolation and quarantine facilities in Auckland, said a ministry statement.
The seven-day rolling average of new cases detected at the border is four, it said.
An additional four people have recovered. The total number of active cases in New Zealand is 74, and the total number of confirmed cases is 2,168.– NNN-AGENCIES
