Road Accident Kills Seven In Northern India

NEW DELHI, Feb 24 (NNN-PTI) – Seven people, including two women, died in a road accident early today, in northern India, confirmed a local police, over the phone.

The accident occurred on the Yamuna Expressway, near Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh state.

All the victims, who belonged to the Jind district, of the northern state of Haryana, were heading towards Mathura, a religious city, known for its temples.

According to the police, the dead included four members of a family.

The accident is said to have occurred, when a truck overturned after its tyre burst, and the victims’ car rammed into the back of the truck.– NNN-PTI
