DOHA, Qatar, Mar 2 (NNN-QNA) – Qatari Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, on Friday, discussed with Jared Kushner, senior adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, about the Middle East peace process.
The Qatari foreign minister met with Kushner, U.S. peace envoy to the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt and U.S. special envoy for Iran, Brian Hook.
The two sides discussed developments in the Middle East region, efforts to revive the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians and means to boost bilateral relations.
Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, is currently on a Middle East visit to five countries, to discuss the future of peace in the region.
Washington is expected to announce its peace plan, which is called “Deal of the Century,” after the general election in Israel, scheduled on Apr 9.– NNN-QNA
