BEIRUT, Feb 20 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanon recorded yesterday, 2,255 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 351,048, the Health Ministry reported.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths from the virus went up by 51 to 4,257.
Caretaker Lebanese Economy and Trade Minister, Raoul Nehme, said that, he has been working with representatives of the trade sector, to organise the re-opening of this sector, after the long period of total lockdown adopted in the country, to fight against the COVID-19.
Nehme also called upon business owners, to register their employees for vaccination against the virus.
Lebanon has received the first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines last Sunday, and it is expected to receive the second batch by next week.– NNN-NNA
