COVID-19 Cases Increase To 141,637 In Myanmar

YANGON, Feb 16 (NNN-MNA) – The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar increased to 141,637 as of yesterday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports.

A total of 36 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported in the country yesterday.

The death toll of COVID-19 reached 3,190, with one newly reported in the country, yesterday, the release said.

According to the ministry’s figures, a total of 130,465 patients have been discharged from hospitals, and over 2.47 million samples have been tested for COVID-19, so far.

Myanmar reported its first two positive cases of COVID-19 on Mar 23, last year.– NNN-MNA
