Singapore Reports Nine Imported COVID-19 Cases

SINGAPORE, Feb 14 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH), reported nine new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 59,786.

All Of the new cases are imported ones.

Yesterday, 35 more cases were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 59,604 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged.

There are currently 34 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and one is in critical condition, in the intensive care unit.

Furthermore, 119 patients, who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19, are isolated and cared for at community facilities.

Altogether 29 people have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection in Singapore.– NNN-CNA
