JALALABAD, Feb 11 (NNN-AGENCIES) – One civilian has been confirmed dead and four others injured, as a blast shook Behsood district, in eastern Nangarhar province today, a news release of provincial government said.
The explosive device was planted inside a handcart, and went off at 08:30 a.m. local time, killing one civilian on the spot, and injuring four others, the news release added.
Without providing more details, the release said that, investigation had been initiated into the incident.
Target killing, mostly in the shape of explosion, has been on the rise over the past couple of months, in parts of Afghanistan.– NNN-AGENCIES
