KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 9 (Bernama) — FWD Takaful Berhad (“FWD Takaful”) has added an additional RM5 million into its MOH FWD MY Heroes Fund to support the Ministry of Health (“MOH”) frontliners in their continued battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing the total of the special fund to RM10 million from the initial allocation of RM5 million last year.
Salim Majid Zain, FWD Takaful’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “Our frontliners are facing a tougher challenge this year with the significant rise of COVID-19 cases in recent months. We want to do what we can to step forward and continue providing practical support to frontliners and their immediate family through our MOH FWD MY Heroes Fund.”
