Four Killed As Unknown Armed Men Open Fire On Car In Afghan Capital

KABUL, Feb 9 (NNN-XINHUA) – Four people were killed, as unknown armed men sprayed bullets, on a car of government employees in Afghan capital Kabul today, police spokesman, Ferdaus Faramarz, said.

According to the official, the unidentified men opened fire on a car, in Bagh-e-Daud area of Police District 5, at 09:20 a.m. local time, killing four persons on the spot.

All the victims are employees of the Ministry for Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the official added.

This is the second violent incident in Kabul today.

In the first incident, a mine targeting a vehicle in Police District 16, injured one person, police confirmed.– NNN-XINHUA
