JAKARTA, Feb 8 (NNN-ANTARA) – The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 10,827 within one day to 1,157,837, with the death toll adding by 163 to 31,556, the Health Ministry said yesterday.
According to the ministry, 10,806 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 949,990.
The COVID-19 virus has spread to all the country’s 34 provinces.
Within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 4,213 new cases, West Java 1,988, Central Java 1,064, East Java 557 and East Kalimantan 501.
No more new positive cases were found in West Nusa Tenggara province.– NNN-ANTARA
