Iran Receives First Batch Of Foreign COVID-19 Vaccine

TEHRAN, Feb 5 (NNN-IRNA) – Iran yesterday received the first batch of Russia-made COVID-19 vaccine “Sputnik V,” it was reported by an official news agency.

The second cargo of “Sputnik V” will arrive in Iran in two weeks, and the third will be delivered to Iran by Feb 28, said Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali.

Iran’s health ministry, yesterday reported a total of 1,445,326 nationwide infections, of whom 58,256 have died.
