MUMBAI, Jan 31 (NNN-PTI) – Mumbai will see water supply affected in several parts of the Indian financial capital, including the financial hub BKC, on Tuesday and Wednesday, due to the repairing of underground aqueducts.
The water supply department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), will undertake the repair work of two aqueducts, including connecting them in the western suburbs of the city, said the city’s authority in a circular.
The repair work will begin at 6:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday and conclude on Wednesday after 24 hours.
The BMC said, the repair work is expected to lead to low water pressures or disruption of water supply, in some areas, while urging local residents to prepare for the situation.– NNN-PTI
