TASHKENT, Jan 29 (NNN-XINHUA) – Uzbek President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and his South Korean counterpart, Moon Jae-in, held a virtual summit via video links yesterday, to develop bilateral economic and trade relations, Mirziyoyev’s press service said.
“The agenda of the talks includes acute issues of development of bilateral relations of the special strategic partnership, as well as, regional interaction and cooperation between our states, in the framework of international organisations,” the service said, in a statement.
At the end of the summit, several documents were planned to be signed on promoting cooperation between both countries, in the fields of digital technology, design and health care, among others, the service said.
Currently, South Korea is Uzbekistan’s fourth largest trading partner.– NNN-XINHUA
