TUNIS, Jan 12 (NNN-TAP) — The Tunisian Post is issuing on Jan 12 a postage stamp on the 60th founding anniversary of Tunis-Afrique-Presse (TAP) news agency, a public media outlet with Maghreb, Arab, African and Mediterranean reach, it said in a statement Monday.
“The inception of TAP agency on Jan 1, 1961 was a major landmark in the history of national media. The organisation is the main news provider for various public and private media outlets as well as State institutions,” the same source says.
This stamp as well as other philatelic products made on the same occasion will be sold in all Tunisian post offices and online on www.e-stamps.poste.tn, starting Jan 12, 2021.
