Singapore Reports 14 Imported COVID-19 Cases

SINGAPORE, Dec 26 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 14 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 58,509.

All of the new cases are imported cases.

Yesterday, 20 more cases have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 58,352 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged, the ministry said.

There are currently 31 confirmed cases, who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and none is in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Furthermore, 97 people, who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19, are isolated and cared for at community facilities.

Altogether 29 people have passed away from complications due to the COVID-19 infection.– NNN-CNA
