DHAKA, Dec 22 (NNN-BSS) – Bangladesh’s cabinet decided to vaccinate at least 45 million people before May or June.
After a cabinet meeting with Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina in the chair, Cabinet Secretary, Khandker Anwarul Islam, told reporters, the cabinet gave its approval to a proposal to vaccinate a total of 45 million people across the country, by May or June.
According to Islam, 30 million doses of vaccine will arrive in the country at the end of Jan or first week of Feb, while another 60 million doses in May or June.
With each person receiving two shots, he said, 45 million people will have their vaccines against the COVID-19.– NNN-BSS
