NEW DELHI, Dec 13 (NNN-PTI) – At least seven people died and three others seriously injured, in a collision between a passengers’ vehicle and a truck, in India’s western state of Rajasthan last night, confirmed a local police officer today.
The incident took place in the Nikumbh police station area, of the state’s Chittorgarh district.
As many as 18 residents of the central state of Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam district were in the vehicle, who were about to visit a temple in Chittorgarh.
The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals, said the local cop.
State Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, expressed grief over the accident.– NNN-PTI
