DHAKA, Dec 5 (NNN-BSS) – Bangladesh recorded 2,252 new COVID-19 cases and 24 new deaths yesterday, raising its total tally to 473,991 with 6,772 deaths, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), said.
The official data showed that 15,430 samples were tested, in the last 24 hours, across Bangladesh.
The total number of recovered patients rose to 390,951, including 2,572 new recoveries yesterday, said the DGHS.
Official data showed that the COVID-19 fatality rate in Bangladesh stands at 1.43 percent and recovery rate at 82.48 percent.
Bangladesh recorded the highest daily case spike of 4,019 on July 2, and the highest number of deaths of 64 on June 30.– NNN-BSS
