Bangkok, Nov 29 (Bernama) – A Thai Deputy Director-General Of The Department Of Disease Control (Ddc) Collapsed While Participating In A Running Event And Died In The Hospital In The Central Province Of Sing Buri Monday.
In A Statement, The Public Health Ministry Said Dr Assadang Ruayajin, 59, Was Taking Part In The Thin-Werachon Mini-Half Marathon At Bang Rachan Memorial Park In Sing Buri.
It Said He Collapsed During The Run And Was Rushed To Bang Rachan Hospital.
“The Doctors Performed Cpr For One And A Half Hours And Used Automated External Defibrillator For Five Times. He Was Pronounced Dead At 7.15 Am Due To Acute Heart Failure,” It Said.
